Do you believe that FWB is purely unconditional sex? Do you think this is a stage in which some women deliberately avoid a committed relationship when they are young? Some of us believe that FWB can enjoy each other and fully meet our needs - not only when we were very young, but also when we explicitly avoided the issue of commitment. Many women I know have had an FWB at some point. Here are five benefits of having friends.
1. You can harvest friendship
Let's start with the first word of that phrase. Friend! Whether it's been five months or five years since you broke up, don't we need a friend, especially when we are experiencing tremendous changes? Don't we need someone we can trust, escape and laugh at? Who can we play with? FWB is the hookup finder you want to have sex with. It may start as a friend, and you have a good time together - especially in bed.
2. Sex has its advantages
Now let's talk about the benefits of these "benefits" - as if you don't know yet. Who doesn't feel glorious when your sexual life with your partner is wonderful? When we reconstitute after divorce, is it not part of the process to discover our new single self? Don't we want to enjoy flirting, fantasy, feeling and happiness from foreplay and sex itself? Who doesn't like the impact of energy, the stimulation of emotion, the vibrant spark from great casual encounters? Don't we feel comfortable when we have sex after a divorce or a difficult breakup?
3. You can practice safe sex
In my opinion, especially as a mother, if you're looking for sex, but you don't have the ability to pursue more, whatever you explore, you should let your children (and of course you) do it safely. Remember - FWB is not a one-night stand, nor is he a stranger. He is a partner -- a special partner. When we talk about safety --- friends with or without benefits --- don't forget condoms, protect your privacy, and don't make your predecessor a "friend" with benefits!
4. This is a good experimental method
Some women hesitate about their sexual fantasies. This is how we socialize, more regrettable.
One of the benefits of a FWB is that it doesn't have to be too romantic. In other words, try something new! For some women, beneficial friends may be less worried about what they think than those we see as potential life partners. This may mean greater freedom to discuss our fantasies - or to entertain them. So if the idea appeals to you, why not experiment with your special friends?
5. Freedom!
In the years after divorce, whether we choose freedom or not, freedom has its own benefits. I believe it's our responsibility to take time to heal, to discover how we evolved during and after marriage, to explore who we might want to enjoy a relationship with. Some people may regard good friends as NSA sexual behavior. Others may think it's a good sexual act, with enough emotional connections to make people feel relaxed without turning the relationship into something else. If it doesn't fit you in a few months? Keep going.
